One of the recommendations of the 2024 visit to Kasese was to investigate funding opportunities to support KADUPEDI's need for the purchase of a van to provide additional transport services for the disabled. Both parents and persons with disabilities were willing to go for rehabilitation services; however such services were only available in Kampala, Entebbe, Mbarara and Fort Portal. As a consequence, KADUPEDI could not afford the transport costs. 

However, thanks to an anonymous CanUgan donor, KADUPEDI was able to purchase a van which will allow a significant increase in rehabilitation visits for the disabled.  The vehicle would also be used to distribute assistive devices and for the monitoring program. KADUPEDI also saw it as an income generating opportunity (tourists) that would support other programs, vehicle maintenance and fuel costs.
